For the last couple of days loudtwitter is working in a degraded state because Twitter arbitrarily changed its rate limits.
To get your tweets loudtwitter is pulling the information from your public page, which worked well until the change. Now one computer can only fetch tweets a few times per day. Since there are 10.000 accounts on loudtwitter it doesn't really work. I've contacted twitter about that issue, and I'm waiting to hear from there.
Stay tuned.
Well, hey, we love you LoudTwitter! We're all hanging in there with ya'!

Hello. It's my understanding that you can request to have your application white-listed so it is exempted from the API requests limit.
There's a whitelisting request form at:
http://twitter.com/help/request_whitelisting
And this section of the API documentation page provides info:
http://groups.google.com/group/twitter-development-talk/web/api-documentation#RateLimit
Hope this helps in some way since I'm also a LoudTwitter user! 8-)

Could gnip be of any use? http://www.gnipcentral.com/
Posted by: Tim Bond in Denver | July 20, 2008 at 05:25 AM
@mdy: I've requested to be whitelisted, I'm waiting to hear from them. This documentation lacks information about the unauthenticated rate limits they just started to apply
@tim: probably, gnip looks cool (checkout notifixio.us as well), but ideally i'd rather not invest time in rebuilding something that is supposed to work

I take it this is why the emailing post thingy for blogger hasn't been working very well? Hopefully it gets fixed soo...
Posted by: SMD | July 22, 2008 at 12:11 AM
I came here looking to find out why my twits weren't showing up on LJ, and leave saying, Hey, thanks for all of your work on something that gives so many people happiness. Peace.

Is it broken again? Haven't seen any tweets on my blog for a couple of days now.
Posted by: Geo Mealer | July 28, 2008 at 12:23 AM
"Your next tweets are scheduled to be shipped to your blog anytime soon... contact us if something looks wrong."
It has been saying this for the past week, nothing shipped to my Livejournal.
VERY frustrating. When is this going to get fixed?

I have yet to recieve any of my tweets from atleast 10 days ago what is the problem with the posting on livejournal from here?
Posted by: neka | July 30, 2008 at 07:46 AM
Hi All, your tweets should be back soonish now, sorry!
Posted by: Loudtwitter | July 30, 2008 at 08:46 AM
I never even thought to check your blog, I just figured there was a problem somewhere. I hope it gets fixed soon! I keep forgetting I actually need to LJ what I twittered previously. Will it do a huge backlog of tweets it missed when it starts working again?
Posted by: AnnaOnTheMoon | July 30, 2008 at 09:55 AM
@annaonthemoon No, Loudtwitter has no way to post in the past.

Hey, is there an issue going on with logging into LT? Either I am retarded and can't remember my password, or something ain't working, cause I've tried every password I commonly use and it won't let me login to LT.
Posted by: Delta | July 30, 2008 at 12:44 PM
It's working now, thanks so much!
Posted by: Eric Berry | July 30, 2008 at 12:53 PM
Seriously, my tweets have re-posted six times today on my blog
wtf?
Posted by: MontiLee | July 30, 2008 at 03:06 PM
I second the multiple postings.
And I know of one other person that its happening to. So you might wanna fix that. :)

Repetitive posts from LoudTwitter! I am getting repetitive spammy type posts from LoudTwitter today.
Is there something wrong with the server?
Posted by: tanyad | July 30, 2008 at 04:27 PM
Yep, I am getting multiple LoudTwitters today too. I guess it's better than none at all, but... what's up?
Posted by: juverna | July 30, 2008 at 04:29 PM
I'm getting the same issue. I've had like five today, so I put it on hold until I figure out what is going on. Hopefully the LT folks fix it.
Posted by: SMD | July 30, 2008 at 06:25 PM
@juverna @tanyad @SMD @Tanya arg! It's not my day. I've just spent one hour on it and created a bug report at twitter's http://tinyurl.com/6bx6bo
I'm still investigating the issue though... But I hope I'll find the solution fast, my baby is due tomorrow, I'll have much less time to spend on that kind of things soon :-)

I had made several twitterposts yesterday that *did* originally get put on Livejournal, but then they disappeared from Twitter, and now I've noticed they've disappeared from Livejournal too! I thought they would be safe on Livejournal at least, once they were copied over there.
Does that have anything to do with Loudtwitter going wrong? Or are Twitter and Livejournal both censoring me? I didn't write anything nasty or illegal or anything, just angry. The only other thing I can think of is if someone in my family is somehow hacking into my accounts and messing with them, and I honestly don't think anyone else in this house is smart enough to do that.

Thank you so much for loudtwitter! I just signed up for twitter, but I love my blog and they work so well together!
Posted by: Marilyn | August 05, 2008 at 12:08 AM
I just set up my twitter and loudtwitter. For some odd reason when it asked me a twitter to follow, i put in "loudtwitter". i've since updated it to my own twitter name, but i keep getting both of them posted to my livejournal.

Does anyone know if loudtwitter works with an LJ that's friends only locked?
Posted by: Jamie | August 08, 2008 at 04:25 PM
>>> Does anyone know if loudtwitter works with an LJ that's friends only locked?
Jamie - Yes, it works for me with a locked LJ (though it has stopped working now that my Tweets are private - wondering if that feature has been implemented in LoudTwitter yet?)
